Forum Rules
Forum Rules:
The Basics:
1. No spamming. This is pretty self-explanatory. Anything that is un-related to the topic is considered spam. Random links, vulgar images, and one word posts can also be considered spam.
2. No swearing. Please do not swear. If you need to, please use *s.
3. Keep your posts PG rated. Please keep your posts PG rated, since there may be younger users.
4. Do not insult others. Insulting other people is a BIG BIG BIG thing. If you call other people hurtful names or put them down, you might be banned. If you catch anyone else doing this, please PM me immediately.
5. Avoid chatspeak. Avoid using chatspeak, such has "Lmao, Lol, Rofl, L8ter, Ttyl" since there may be some people who don't understand chatspeak. You may, however, use chatspeak in the "Chats" board.
6. Try to stay active. If you're going on vacation/leaving for more than a month, please tell us in the "Absenses/Quitting" topic so your RP character does not get deleted. If you are quitting the RP/transferring to another character, please tell us as well in the "Absenses/Quitting" topic.
RPing:
1. Always stay IC. When RPing, always stay IC (in character). If you need to make OOC (out of character) comments, please use brackets like this: [OOC: (insert message)]. You be OOC in the OOC forum.
2. Avoid Godmoding. There are two type of godmoding. Passive godmoding is when everything happens in your RP character's favor. For example, in a fight, your RP character always happens to dodge every single blow. Another example is if your character is afflicted with a serious disease that can only be cured by rare ingredients. Godmoding happens when your character just "happens" to find these ingredients in his background. Active godmoding is when a person describes the outcome of an attack. For example, player A says "Player A attacks Player B. Player B faints." This isn't fair to player B, who has no say in this. Passive godmoding may happen occasionally. Active godmoding is prohibited.
3. Please no clairvoyance. If another character is thinking something in their head, you cannot reply to what they are thinking unless your RP character is granted with the gift of telepathy, like Taranee.
